This privacy policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit this website, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), in force since 1 September 2023.
What Data I Collect
1. Contact Form
When you submit the contact form, I collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The service category you selected
- The content of your message
Purpose: To respond to your enquiry and potentially enter into a consulting engagement.
Legal basis: Your consent (by submitting the form) and legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Retention: Up to 12 months after your enquiry, unless a contractual relationship is established.
2. Spontaneous Applications
If you send an application to careers@baseltech-consulting.ch or through the careers page, I collect your name, email address, CV, any cover letter and the information you provide about your background and availability.
Purpose and legal basis: assessing possible project collaboration. Processing is based on your consent and on pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Retention: applications are kept for twelve months and then deleted, together with any attached files. You may request earlier deletion at any time by writing to careers@baseltech-consulting.ch; deletion follows within five working days.
Disclosure: applications are not shared with third parties.
3. Server Logs (Netlify)
This website is hosted by Netlify (USA). Netlify may automatically collect technical data including your IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security purposes. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.

Wenn Sie eine Bewerbung an careers@baseltech-consulting.ch oder über die Karriereseite senden, erhebe ich Ihren Namen, Ihre E-Mail-Adresse, Ihren Lebenslauf, ein allfälliges Anschreiben sowie die Angaben zu Ihrem Hintergrund und Ihrer Verfügbarkeit.
Zweck und Rechtsgrundlage: Prüfung einer möglichen Projektzusammenarbeit. Die Bearbeitung stützt sich auf Ihre Einwilligung und auf vorvertragliche Massnahmen auf Ihr Ersuchen.
Aufbewahrung: Bewerbungen werden zwölf Monate aufbewahrt und danach samt Anhängen gelöscht. Eine frühere Löschung können Sie jederzeit unter careers@baseltech-consulting.ch verlangen; sie erfolgt innerhalb von fünf Arbeitstagen.
Weitergabe: Bewerbungen werden nicht an Dritte weitergegeben.

Finalité et base légale : évaluation d'une collaboration possible sur projet. Le traitement repose sur votre consentement et sur des mesures précontractuelles prises à votre demande.
Conservation : les candidatures sont conservées douze mois puis supprimées, pièces jointes comprises. Vous pouvez demander une suppression anticipée à tout moment en écrivant à careers@baseltech-consulting.ch ; elle intervient sous cinq jours ouvrés.
Communication : les candidatures ne sont pas transmises à des tiers.
